story of
a pumpkin
The tumba (base) of a sitar is made of dried pumpkin shell. Every time a new instrument is crafted, a part of the pumpkin shell goes to scrap.
Meeras, is an attempt to re-purpose the process residual from the craft of Sitar-making to create a lighting design.
See how the concept came into existence.
